I love playing this game, and have had my village for about 15 years, with on and off play. However in the past couple of months I have lost several items that I paid for due to ads popping up or the game crashing. I also have had trouble participating in weekly events because despite having a strong internet connection, it doesn't appear until the event is over.

App size has become too large for my Note 8; 1.5 to 2 Gb. One of my largest apps to date. I never restarted the game after upgrading years ago from Note 4 & even then I had issues with the app size. I remember the monitary/berries issue in order to progress & that was an early turn off. Sounds like it's become more P2P style, how unfortunate. Uninstalling on my phone & will leave solely for my tablet. Won't reinstall on any new phone devices. Thumbs up 👍🏼for the nostalgia factor though.

The game was fun at first. I gave the game five stars. Then had to spend money on smurf berries and the cost of materials to build anything was a lot and couldn't get farther on the game. It quit beening fun until, my husband's game crashed first and had the team looked into it and never got back with him. Then the game crashed on mine. I didn't want to go through what he went through. So just uninstalled the game. I knew if he got no help then I wouldn't either.
