When IT issues arise, Workspace ONE Assist enables help desk staff to securely connect to your device and remotely assist you with device tasks and issues, so you can stay focused on what matters most. With Workspace ONE Assist, you have full control over your privacy. Each remote support session requires your acceptance before your screen is shared and can be paused or ended at any time.
To use Workspace ONE Assist, your device must be enrolled in Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). Specific devices may also require a manufacturer-specific Workspace ONE Assist service app or use the accessibility service to enable remote control. In order to use the accessibility service on your device, Workspace ONE Assist will request additional permissions each time the service is enabled. Contact your IT administrator for more information.

In this release, we are excited to announce that the Assist agent is now Direct Boot aware, enabling admins and support personnel to initiate remote Assist sessions on devices immediately after a reboot, even while the device remains locked. Previously, devices in this state could not be accessed remotely until the screen was unlocked.
