OnBudget is a free budget app and expense tracker that helps you track spending, set monthly budgets, and reach savings goals. It’s a simple personal finance and money manager- no account, no sign-up. Your data stays on your device.

📱 Why OnBudget works

1. Add transactions
Use the expense tracker to log what you spend and earn. Choose a category (Food, Transport, Shopping, Bills, Entertainment, and more), enter the amount and date, add a note if you like. You can add income and expenses so you see your full cash flow.

2. Set budgets
In the budget planner, set a monthly budget for each category or use a single overall budget. The app shows how much you’ve used and how much is left. The dashboard shows whether you’re under or over your limit so you can adjust spending.

3. Track daily, weekly & monthly
The main screen shows today’s spending, this week’s spending, and this month’s spending. You can switch between time ranges to see where your money goes and stay within your budget.

4. Set savings goals
Create goals (e.g. holiday fund, emergency fund), set a target amount and date, and track progress. The money manager view helps you see how close you are to each goal.

5. Understand your spending
The Analysis tab shows spending by category (with a clear breakdown), income vs expenses, and trends over time. Use it to spot habits and improve your personal finance.

6. Export & backup
Export your transactions to CSV or PDF for a chosen period (e.g. 1 month, 3 months, all time). Save the file to Drive, Files, or anywhere you like. No cloud sync required—you decide when to backup.
