The game works reasonably well, except there never seems to be a tournament, and most annoyingly when in multiplayer mode there are some very long delays when one player declines a rematch and for some reason the wait icon just spins and spins when surely it should already know the player has declined. But I keep playing because it's otherwise well-made and lots of fun. UPDATED 2020: The multiplayer aspect of this game used to be loads of fun. The best part was the banter between players; I speak Italian, and reading the comments was sometimes so funny that, no exaggeration, my sides ached! Unfortunately, the in-game chat has now been removed, maybe because there were a few jerks here and there. Honestly, developers, there has to be a better way to fix that than punishing the rest of us. While Briscola is still a great game, and this is still a decent implementation of Briscola, I have to dock the score 1 star because all the negative I wrote about above remain true, and now they added a pretty severe one on top of it. I'm looking for another Briscola now.

Inability to play with friends outside of Facebook link & the issue of people quitting or disconnecting before the game ends not being solved with an AI replacement means I can't go over 2 star. If these were solved, you're looking at a 4/5 star game as it would be all you could ask for from a briscola app.

While it is a good game there are some serious flaws. I don't get the premise of the emotes feature. When I play there is a No Talking rule in effect with the exception of 1st & Last hand. The partner AI seems to be completely idiotic. Outside of these annoyances the game is enjoyable. Would be nice to be able to pair up with friends, but i'm not really one for multiplayer and the unending problems that come with it. Perhaps if you could partner up vs. AI opponents w/Higher scores-Longer games
