Garbage... don't waste your hard earned money as I did... Something isn't right with this game's algorithm/balance... or there's something nefarious going on. Not sure.. but it all equals massive frustration... and a pay to win type of scenario.. and even then you get set up against insurmountable odds. Ridiculous. Same issues as their WW2 version of this type of RTS.

Reviewed this game a few years ago and one starred it because it was a buggy mess compared to its predecessor. Came back to find a much improved game in every aspect, even if it is still occasionally buggy with ad crashes and sync issues. Much more fun now with additional factions and units, a variety of viable tactics, and a decent pace of advancement. Adjusted the rating accordingly.

The battles are actually very fun and I love the variety of units and commanders. However, unless you are going to spend a good chunk of change, good luck ever actually getting the commanders/units that you want. What I liked about the WWII version of the game was that I could focus on a specific faction and eventually get the units I want. In this game, all of the units, and commanders, are drawn from the same bucket.
