Ghost Hunters Chapter 1

The main character is a hereditary medium who has been interested in technology since childhood. But she is not satisfied with what her grandmother and mother taught her: if nothing works, then pretend that everything is fine. In addition, she cannot feel the presence of otherworldly forces at all - she is not a medium, but she knows a lot about ghosts from her medium-relatives. In her life, she has never seen a single spirit and has become disillusioned with her business. And there is nothing worse than doing something that is not your business.
She decides to try her hobby and makes a device that can identify spirits and ghosts, if they really exist. At one of the spiritualistic sessions, she tests her new invention and summons a spirit for real. It appears, which greatly frightens the client.
Because of this incident, the heroine is called by the council of mediums and told that despite her eminent relatives, she can no longer engage in spiritualism - she is jeopardizing the entire similar business in the city. The upset heroine comes to her salon for the last time to pick up her things, but then a mysterious person appears on the threshold and offers her a contract - she needs to identify and catch ghosts that appeared after her device worked all over the city in specific places. And he gives her a map of these places plus promises big money.
The heroine thinks that this is just some rich fanatic of the paranormal, and she especially needs money now, and nothing will happen if she takes on this simple and harmless at first glance job.
