About this game

Patient Zero is a new kind of global infection idle simulator where you do not simply watch the spread - you lead a secret underground bio-laboratory dedicated to creating and improving dangerous pathogens. This dark virus game combines long-term progression with constant experimentation and growth.

In Patient Zero, your organization operates from the shadows - gathering data, running experiments, and releasing new strains into the world. While governments try to contain the threat, you build your own system of spread - hidden, efficient, and designed for long-term evolution. The game blends the atmosphere of a lab simulator with the tension of a global outbreak scenario.

This is a hybrid of idle mechanics, strategy, and simulation, where progress continues even when you are away, but the most important decisions always remain in your hands. Patient Zero also delivers the feel of a pandemic simulator while staying focused on upgrades, pathogen development, and laboratory management.

There are currently 4 pathogens in the game, each with its own strains:

* Virus
* Bacteria
* Parasite
* Fungus

A new pathogen - Nanobot - is now in preparation for release, with more pathogens already on the way.

Develop your lab, improve your pathogens, unlock stronger strains, and accelerate every stage of your progress in Patient Zero.

I have completed the bacteria strain four times and it will not let you progress to the next pathogen, as others have said. I also have experienced the bug of speeding up immediately shutting off. You have to fully close the game for it to start working again. It is a pretty decent game, but these bugs need to be fixed. I would not make any purchases.

I wanted to like this game, but I ended up spending more time watching ads than actually playing. It feels like every few minutes I’m forced into another ad, which completely ruins the experience. On top of that, the prices to remove ads are way too high. Paying $14 to remove ads or even $5 just to stop forced ads doesn’t feel reasonable. Because of this, I can’t really give a fair review of the gameplay itself since I barely get to play. The constant ads make it frustrating instead of fun.

This was a fun game... for about an hour. Forced ads became more and more frequent until they were happening about every minute or so. There are plenty of other games out there that follow the same style and have little to no forced ads. They do just fine. I'm not paying a monthly fee to remove them, I'm just uninstalling.
