2- If you turn on Matching by Profile, we will match you with the person with the best taste of music, according to your listening habits on Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music.
3- On the Discover page, you can access people who are actively listening to music in makromusic.
From ''my profile page'', you can see your favorite artists, your favorite songs and the songs you last heard.
By reviewing the profiles of the people you are matching with, you can see your match rate, common songs & artists and why you are matched. So you can manage your matches in the healthiest way.
How do we use Spotify APIs?
We get the Email address, name and username, profile picture, and public playlists to which the Spotify account is linked. This information allows you to quickly register with makromusic. We want you to match and meet the people closest to the music taste quickly without losing time. Remember, you can always update this information as you like from the settings section.
You can easily delete your makromusic account and saved data from the "Settings" section whenever you want.

Feels like the app is absolutely filled with bots. I matched with like 10 people and none of then responded to my messages at all, and they're constantly showing music playing from Spotify. Who listens to music that much? It's not even possible. Also, everybody has almost the exact same taste as me. If this app was as big as Tinder that would make a bit more sense, but I'm not buying it. I'll keep using it for a bit, but I'm suspicious.

Has a lot of potential, but even w/ subscription you can only filter distance in one mode, so matching based on recent listens and received likes are all over. 90% of the accounts that I had contact with were obvious bots/OF/catfish. Biggest pet peeve is that I couldn't remove songs I don't want to be matched by. If I played it once on Spotify, this app will continue to match on it. I was looking for people with similar tastes, not every person that listened to a pop song I heard once. Sucks.

Very good idea for an app, but has some strange choices for a dating app. For instance age and distance are not visible on someone's public profile, and you have to hope they are telling the truth in conversation. In addition it seems to be absolutely rampant with fake accounts, and frankly I'm not surprised with how little you need to provide to create a profile. Far lower security than we have come to expect from other dating apps.
