Meetup for Organizers

This app is horrible. I wish hosts could use the original app like before. It's hard to type. There is a weird overlap from some categories, so adding tags is impossible. I want to be able to change people to a no-show without clicking "didn't go" first, and also be able to mark it without using the check in features. I still have to log into my computer to be efficient and track who went.

I've been running my group for two years now with meetup, and while I think it's already overpriced, it's also unreliable! Most recently, I created an event, but it was pointed out to me a week in advance that I had it for the wrong day. I tried to edit it to the correct day, and an event was created, but the event with the bad date remained! To make matters worse, I have no way to react to any mistake and let those RSVPed know the issue without blasting every single member!

A terrible app. And getting worse after they raised the price for organizers. For example, if you send a message with content that's pasted from Word, Meetup emails the text with all the formatting code. Also, every once in a while it randomly stops sending organizers emails from those who RSVP'd. They seem to have fixed this for the time being, but it's been broken and fixed and re-broken several times in the past. Plus there's no way to automate a response to those who RSVP.
