I really like the ideas in this game. I like the strategy mechanics with the squads and arranging them on this big field and watching the war play out. This game just doesn't work tho. Once you get to the point where need to move around the map to select missions the game is over because you can't. It just zooms in and out but you can't move around the map. that's just the game killing bug next to a million smaller bugs

The issue you mentioned about maps that cannot be moved and can only be zoomed in and out does indeed affect the core battlefield experience. Loved playing the original version of this game for years when I was little. so glad it's been redone and made available again. I'll update my rating as I experience more of the game. So far it's good though. That said, I do miss having Keats to start with, I always loved watching him become the most powerful thing in the game despite being a common rarity starting unit lol. EDIT: I wish I could play the single player missions offline EDIT2: The game won't load anymore, no idea why.

it's a really good callback to the original which I loved. I do wish that it was easier to access all of the new characters you guys added. it feels like many characters are locked away behind limited time events that you have to pay for to get characters. little frustrating tbh. otherwise, very good love the atmosphere and nostalgia. runs smoothly too which I'm glad about
