The gameplay itself is fun, but there's no one on there. You match with someone, play a word, and then they never play back. And I don't like playing against the computer because they mostly use words I've never heard of, and I have a pretty good vocabulary, so it's like, "Oh swell, glad you were able to automatically scan the dictionary for a bizarre abbreviation." It just feels cheap. And I'm not interested in recruiting my friends to join when the NYT game pass is $60/year.

So far, this is probably one of the best games I’ve played on here in a while. It’s highly addictive for sure! The only thing I would change—and I mean the only thing—is the 'drag to place' function. I think it would be much better to just tap the letter and then the square. Dragging pieces back to the letter bar is difficult at times and can get really annoying. Maybe the option to pick between the two. Other than that, it's perfect.

The game is fine. NYT Scrabble/Words with Friends. The UI is a bit wonky. I have a pixel fold. When closed, I can't see the very bottom of the bottom row, so, like, I can't see what a word I'm trying to play is worth or the bottoms of the letters. If I open the phone to full screen, I can see that, but then the shuffle, recall, swap, and more.... options disappear. Just irritating.

What’s new

This version fixes an issue where panning across the board with one finger can accidentally trigger the dictionary long-press if your finger pauses on a tile for too long.
