when it works, it's adequate. However, it's highly inconsistent in its connection and performance regardless of your Internet connection. it often says it can't connect, would drop in performance, disconnect, sign you out the app, etc Xbox, Nvidia, Amazon, and my favorite, the long home Stadia have( or had) significantly better performance and user experience.

Honestly, the app is great. It's like, really good once it comes to pairing your controller to your phone. But just the the app by itself, without that controlling thing, it just wouldn't even make sense, because now it's a saying every time can't connect can't connect because of a different network, even though I'm on the same network I tried everything. It does not work. It's show me please update this.Fix the bug it's annoying now. I'm thinking about deleting it.

I love my PS5, but the remote play features are garbage. It's almost impossible to link up with my PS5. Then when I do, it let's me play for about 5 minutes, then it freezes, and disconnects, and then refuses to link back up with the console. To be fair I've had a couple times where it worked the way it should. But mostly it's just broken. Xbox is lightyears ahead when it comes to this feature. Just trash.
