There's No m In Sandwich
It's been almost a week. Service seems as described. Not updating data balance, it's the same as the 2nd day of use. No way to refresh it. Interface is dinosaur days, bare bones. I suppose if the lack of investment their keeps the price of the plans down then it's worth it. but it really is ugly and for what we use today it looks unfamiliar it looks like you're looking at a 1990s web page. 4 not 5 stars because I can't keep track of how much data I'm using due to data balance not refreshing.

So far, so good... I've had Tello 9 months maybe, and no issues. I wish they had a dashboard feature like Ting has, with a visual circle (like a gas gauge) showing each type of usage (mins, texts, data) & the amount used in a billing cycle. It would make tracking & learning about usage habits much easier, and would be a really nice feature.

As a US citizen overseas, Tello is very convenient on my trips home. Easy to set up, inexpensive, good service. My one complaint is that I wished they used normal numbers with local area codes. The numbers I've received—two so far—read like a business or a scam number, in addition to having a random area code. This is in comparison to Tracfone, which I used previously and does offer local phone numbers. I'm hoping this will change, since Tello offers the ability to park a number.
