third update: i have used this app a lot for two different sites. it's really frustrating to use all the way around. Stream stuttering, 4K playback still has issues, event filters don't work, alarm profile operation is inscrutable, etc etc. Also just discovered it uses a LOT of battery power, which is a clue that there's probably some optimization needed. Fully aware that some of this could be due to my phone, but phone is a brand new Android.

The key can be gathered by doing at least 10 quick taps on the version number in the Account view.

Practically unusable for live camera monitoring or clip playback when outside my UniFi network. Works well on the network, but the primary reason I installed this system was to monitor when I'm away. Thus far, all their attempts to remedy this through app updates has failed. Support desk NEVER responds. There's a reason these products are so cheap.

they've come a long way, for the cost of their devices I still expect a better app. The browser is much better but their mobile ux is still really bad for playback. Want to adjust the speed? Gotta press 3 or 4 times (they keep changing it) and you'll occasionally lose your spot. Sometimes the app just completely stops loading the stream even though everything is working as it should. A restart of the app fixes everything.
