Cool game, reminds me of Freelancer, but it would be much cooler if it had better Backbone support. The right thumbstick works for steering the ship and the right trigger shoots, but it ignores all of the other buttons so you still have to put your fingers on the screen for all other functions, and there seems to be no way to bind buttons or set it up. Hopefully they plan on adding that eventually.

I don't do reviews often, but this game is exquisite and beautiful to the eye. everything from the stars to the ships to the star gate animations.. (oh my god the Stargate warps never get old!) The game is a blast to play, some bits are challenging which is good but some parts are intentionally more challenging in such a way to promote in game purchases. Unfortunately, there's a pretty substantial issue with crashing. I'm on an S25 + and crashing is common especially when looking at missions. 4*

Very very impressed with this game! Its still being developed but already feels like a AAA rated game you would buy on PC or console - it is pretty much a carbon copy of Everspace 2, feels exactly the same, very similar combat mechanics, story progression and premise while still being its own thing. I haven't had to pay a penny to complete the 3 chapters in the current game, while it was challenging it never felt like I HAD to spend real cash to progress the story or to reach new areas.
