About this app

This app is designed for employee and volunteer drivers employed by the American Red Cross to facilitate the pickup and delivery of supplies and products between Red Cross and customer facilities.

The app enables our dedicated transportation staff to respond to the most urgent lifesaving deliveries, track deliveries and pickups, record when customers received products, rate their volunteer experience, and even receive recognition for their lifesaving work.

Background location services are used sparingly for those drivers who are eager to help with the most urgent blood shipments as we ensure only those drivers who are close enough to the pickup location are offered these urgent shifts so that blood can be delivered on time and before it is needed.

The app is terrible. Not clear when a wait, to continue use, is needed. Scanning feature does not seem to work properly. It scans one item for delivery then goes in continuous circle mode without allowing additional scan even if it requires more scanning. When I start over as directions indicate I can't get past the one previous item I have scanned. I am absolutely app/computer stupid and I can mess this app up in a heartbeat. All this app does is frustrate me.

App works fine up until I have to scan a barcode when making a Blood Delivery and it won't recognize the barcode about 75% of the time. I've tried every fix recommended without results.

I have a "user friendly" experience only about half the time. Most frustrating to me is that there is no way to go back if you go past the scan screen. This means extra time for me and my shift supervisor. There should also be a way to change the order of delivery stops.
