About this ebook

The board of studies in Botany, Dr. B. A. M. University Aurangabad has updated the F. Y. B. Sc. Botany syllabus in relevance with the need of scientific knowledge development. This text book of cryptogamic Botany –II is compiled to illustrate almost all the topics included in the syllabus in lucid and simple language. The authors have tried their level best to explain each and every topic with illustrative diagrams and updated information.

The topics like Bryophyta and Pteridophyta are written by the author with full details and skills so that the students of F. Y. B. Sc. Botany can understand very easily. This Book may also help to the students of other University and agriculture Science as it is the basis of cryptogamic plants.

I have kept in mind the level of the students entering the undergraduate as well as Post- Graduate and treated the syllabus all the topics in a language and style which will be well within their grasp.

I shall be happy to receive criticism and suggestion for further improvement of the book.
