About this app

Take personalization a step further in the Bose QCE app. Five-band Adjustable EQ settings let you dial in the sound and control bass, mid-range, and treble levels as you go. Switch between ANC settings and go from Quiet to Aware to off. Use the app to check battery life, customize your shortcuts, and manage connected devices.

It's a massive oversight that I can't view connected devices in the app and that there's not a button in the app yo turn on pairing mode. Some cheap Soundcore A40s I got from Amazon had this feature. These Bose headphones are amazing but getting them to connect to some devices that dobt have quick connect is a massive pain, e.g. trying to connect to a Nintendo Switch. I got them to show up once but not again and have never been able to get them to connect.

These earbuds have great noise cancellation and are pretty intuitive to use. One improvement I would like is a command to disconnect all devices from the earbuds themselves or the app. When using multipoint, I often have an issue where my laptop will "hog" the connection, and won't let me play anything from my phone. I would like a way to disconnect it from my phone without having to take my laptop out of my bag.

Honestly I haven't used the app very long, but after having finally gotten the 2024 version of the 1st gen QC earbuds recently I've been pretty happy with the experience. So far the app hasn't had any issues, and that's across Android, iOS and PC which is impressive to me to say the least. The changes made within the app will apply to the earbuds pretty much instantly. All in all it's just a solid companion app for a pair of wireless earbuds that actually does what it says on the box lol
