The developers have ruined their good game with greed. The difficulty continually adjusts until you *must* spend money continually to succeed--I don't mean 5-10 bucks once, but a few dollars for every hour of gameplay. Even then, the game is stacked against you: goalkeepers are nearly never available through your youth academy, while competitors all seem to have at least good ones--which the game assigns a transfer value of around 5-10 times that of your own best players.

Engaging game. It takes some effort to learn how to navigate in this game, but there is a helpful tutorial within the game. This games challenges you to make good decisions to improve your players, office staff, and coaches. You also must profit from each season in order to invest in the franchise. I recommend that you start at level 4 as it is the easier. Then work you way up.

This is probably my favorite of the ultimate games and I have the premium version of them all. Problem is, the game ultimately tries to get even more microtransactions out of you. AI teams can create juggernauts by having the premium gear, chemistry not mattering, insanely favorable deals, and no salary limit. I like a challenge but it gets ridiculous and has been a problem since they introduced gear. Should be able to turn them having premium gear off. Lots of bugs rn, too.
